Each piece in our Lichtenberg collection carries a one-of-a-kind fractal pattern, burned into the surface by hand using high-voltage electricity. The result is something between art and accident: organic, unrepeatable, and unmistakable.

Lichtenberg figures form when high-voltage electricity follows the natural fibers of wet wood, branching out in fractal patterns that look like frozen lightning. Every piece is unique because no two pieces of wood conduct electricity the same way.
The fractal pattern is determined by the grain, the moisture, and the path of the current. No two pieces ever come out identical. Yours will be the only one.
We use the same hardwood we'd use for our dining tables, solid, hand-finished, and built to last. The burn lines go beneath the surface, not just on top.
After burning, every piece is filled, sanded smooth, and sealed with lacquer. The pattern is permanent and protected, no maintenance needed.
